MERIDIAN, Miss. (AP) - A man and a juvenile have been arrested after authorities say they put racist graffiti on a Meridian High School wall.

The Meridian Star reports (https://bit.ly/2raXA7b) Meridian Mayor Percy Bland announced during a press conference Monday that they’ve arrested 19-year-old Jordan M. Wolfe and a 16-year-old on multiple offenses including burglary. The vandals left graffiti at the school Friday night and it was removed the next day.

Meridian Police Chief Benny Dubose says a person spotted a man fitting Wolfe’s description spraying graffiti in an underpass. Authorities say Wolfe named his accomplice and admitted to the vandalism.

The juvenile is a student at the school but authorities don’t know if Wolfe was a former student.

Authorities say more charges may follow. It’s unclear if the two teens have lawyers.
