CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A storm system is bringing snow and rain to much of Wyoming.

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for the Wind River Range in central Wyoming, west of Lander. Winter Storm Warnings and winter weather advisories are also in effect for much of central and eastern Wyoming through Saturday morning.

The snow is still expected to remain at elevations above around 5,000 feet Friday with rain in the lower elevation. But the rain may change over to snow for lower elevations into Saturday morning.

The heaviest snow is expected over the Wind River, Green and Rattlesnake ranges where up to 3 feet is possible. Lander could get a foot.

Hazardous travel conditions could develop along Interstates 80 and 25 in eastern Wyoming.
