BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s Transportation Department is cautioning motorists to beware of flooded roadways in the coming days.

The National Weather Service is forecasting high temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Transportation officials say snowmelt could lead to overland flooding that could affect roads in some areas, particularly in the northern part of the state.

Motorists are urged to check road condition reports before heading out, and to not drive around barricades.
