1 dead after vehicle hit tree on Cape Cod

FALMOUTH, Mass. (AP) - Police say one person is dead after a vehicle crashed into a tree on Cape Cod.

The Cape Cod Times reports (https://bit.ly/2oaLEB4 ) Falmouth police Sgt. Michael Rogers says only one person was in the vehicle at the time of crash Wednesday night in East Falmouth.

Rogers says the vehicle had extensive front-end damage. The occupant died at the scene.

State police are investigating. Further information wasn’t immediately available Wednesday night.
