CENTRAL

BELTON: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 1.04 feet high. Black bass are good on green pumpkin crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows under lights at night. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines and throwlines baited with live perch.
BROWNWOOD: Water stained; 65-69 degrees; 0.26 feet high. Black bass are fair on craw colored crankbaits, chartreuse/blue Bass Hogg spinnerbaits and jigs, and watermelon soft plastics. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on white tube jigs and minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.
BUCHANAN: Water stained; 67-71 degrees; 1.97 feet low. Black bass are good on pumpkin/chartreuse tailed Whacky Sticks, white/chartreuse spinnerbaits, and watermelon soft jerkbaits along drop-offs of points and pockets of creeks. Striped bass are fair to good tight lining live bait and vertically jigging silver Pirk Minnows. White bass are good on Bleeding Shiner Tiny Traps, 2-inch Spoiler Shads, and live minnows in the upper end of the lake. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel catfish are good on live bait. Yellow and blue catfish are fair on juglines.
CANYON LAKE: Water stained; 65-69 degrees; 0.21 feet high. Black bass are good on white Terminator spinnerbaits, pumpkin Whacky Sticks, and albino soft plastic jerkbaits along stickups. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on pet spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows upriver. Channel catfish are fair upriver. Yellow and blue catfish are good on juglines.
COLEMAN: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 0.29 feet low. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and dark soft plastic worms or lizards. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.
COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.
FAYETTE: Water murky. Black bass are good on watermelon Wacky Worms and Senkos, white and white/chartreuse spinnerbaits, and pumpkinseed Dead Ringer worms along the outside edges of breaks. Channel and blue catfish are good on cut shad and shrimp over baited holes.
GRANBURY: Water stained; 65-69 degrees; 0.03 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse soft plastic worms with white tails. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows and pet spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are fair on shrimp and stinkbait.
GRANGER: Water stained; 64-68 degrees; 0.31 feet high. Black bass are fair on white spinnerbaits around standing timber. White bass are good on spinnerbaits upriver near Dickerson’s Bottom. Crappie are good on minnows and pink tube jigs in coves and sloughs. Blue catfish are good on prepared baits, and on juglines baited with cut bait and Zote soap. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait in the river.
LBJ: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 0.82 feet low. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin Whacky Sticks, blue/white Terminator spinnerbaits, and soft plastic jerkbaits in 3-10 feet. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

Redfish are good on perch and shrimp on the bottom. Channel and blue catfish are very good on nightcrawlers, shad, and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.
CHOKE CANYON: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 19.97 feet low. Black bass are good on swimbaits and Texas rigged soft plastic lizards. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and fair on jigs under lights at night. Channel and blue catfish are good on punchbait. Yellow catfish are fair on live bait.
COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 80 degrees at the hot water discharge, 68 degrees in main lake; 0.08 feet high. Black bass are excellent on crankbaits and spinnerbaits in 4-6 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs near Coletoville Bridge in 8-10 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on live perch and shad in 8-10 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.
FALCON: Water murky; 67-71 degrees; 29.94 feet low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. GIBBONS CREEK: Water stained. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin soft plastics and crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp, nightcrawlers, and stinkbait.
HOUSTON COUNTY: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 0.14 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows from piers and over brush piles. Bream are fair on live worms off piers and over grass beds. Channel and blue catfish to 8 pounds are good on live worms. Yellow catfish are slow.
LIVINGSTON: Water stained; 65-69 degrees; 0.23 feet high. Black bass are good on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are good on minnows, soft plastics, and spec rigs in the upper creeks. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on perch and shad. Yellow catfish are slow.
SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 1.53 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red soft plastics and spinnerbaits. White bass are fair on live minnows and silver spoons. PANHANDLE
GREENBELT: 30.82 feet low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs, jigs and 5-inch Yum Dingers. Crappie are fair on live minnows.
MACKENZIE: 74.11 feet low. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers.
MEREDITH: 60.34 feet low. TPWD has begun restocking the lake with Walleye. Reports of black bass are rare. No reports of smallmouth bass. Bream and channel catfish are being caught in good numbers.
PALO DURO: 58.92 feet low. No report available.
WEST
ALAN HENRY: Water clear on the main lake, stained up the river; 59 degrees; 1.88 feet low. Black bass are good on 7-inch Power Worms, swim jigs and medium diving crankbaits. Crappie and bass are fair on minnows in the back of creeks. Catfish are good on rod and reel with cut bait and punchbait on baited holes.
ARROWHEAD: Water fairly clear; 55-61 degrees; 0.37 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, Senkos and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and minnows in the shallows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers.
COLORADO CITY: 13.25 feet low. No report available.
FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water murky; 57-62 degrees; 0.03 feet high. Black bass are fair on jigs, Texas rigs and buzzbaits. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers.
HUBBARD CREEK: Water off color; 56-62 degrees; 0.32 feet low. Black bass are fair on split shot rigged flukes, Senkos, Texas rigs and finesse jigs. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and minnows around shallow cover. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.
NASWORTHY: 57-63 degrees; 1.46 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on chatterbaits, jigs and Texas rigged lizards. No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.
OAK CREEK: Water stained; 56-62 degrees; 7.89 feet low. Black bass are good on Texas rigs, Senkos and jigs. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on chartreuse (use Worn-Glo) nightcrawlers.
O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 55-61 degrees; 33.18 feet low. Black bass are good on jigs, Texas rigged creature baits and Yum Dingers. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs in the shallows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.
POSSUM KINGDOM: Water off color; 55-62 degrees; 0.1 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, jigs, shakyheads and chatterbaits. Crappie are fair on live minnows. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Striped bass are fair on live shad. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers.
SPENCE: 49.94 feet low. No report available.
STAMFORD: 0.76 feet low. Black bass are fair on Senkos, split shot rigged flukes, Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows. White bass are fair to good on minnows and tail spinners. Blue catfish are fair to good on cut and live bait.
SWEETWATER: Water off color; 57-63 degrees; 22 feet low. No report available.
WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 55-62 degrees; 19.6 feet low. Black bass are very slow (the bass population was greatly reduced during the drought). No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.
COASTAL
NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good on the Louisiana shoreline on topwaters and Corkies. Flounder are fair on jigs tipped with shrimp around marsh drains. Redfish are good in the marsh on topwaters and spoons.
SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good over shell in 3-4 feet of water. Sheepshead and black drum are good at the jetty on live shrimp. Trout are fair to good around Lighthouse Cove on topwaters.
BOLIVAR: Trout are fair on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Down South Lures and topwaters. Black drum, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass on live shrimp.
TRINITY BAY: Trout are fair on the east shoreline while wading with soft plastics. Redfish are fair around the Spillway on shrimp and crabs.
EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on topwaters and MirrOlures. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp. Redfish are fair in the marsh around points on shrimp and Gulps.
WEST GALVESTON BAY: Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair to good at the jetty on live bait. Trout are fair for waders in the afternoon on topwaters and Lit’l Johns.
TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good on Dollar Reef on live shrimp. Redfish are fair in Moses Lake on mullet and shrimp. Black drum are good around the dike on crabs.
FREEPORT: Trout are fair to good at San Luis Pass on shrimp. Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay. Trout and redfish are fair at the jetties on live shrimp and finger mullet.
EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout and redfish are good for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on the edge of the Intracoastal on crabs and mullet.
WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Redfish are fair to good on the edge of Oyster Lake on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair on shell and grass on soft plastics. Redfish and black drum are fair to good at Shell Island on live shrimp.
PORT O’CONNOR: Trout and redfish are good on topwaters over sand and grass in the guts in San Antonio Bay. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp.
ROCKPORT: Trout are fair to good in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are good on the Estes Flats on shrimp and topwaters.
PORT ARANSAS: Redfish and black drum are fair to good at East Flats and around Dagger Island on shrimp and crabs. Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp.
CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp.
BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good on Gamblers and topwaters while wading sand and grass. Trout are good at night in the Land Cut on live shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in the grass on the King Ranch shoreline on small topwaters and Gulps.
PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters around sand and grass while wading. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes on soft plastics.
SOUTH PADRE: Trout are fair to good for waders around the spoil island on DOA Shrimp and live shrimp. Redfish are fair while drifting sand and grass on Gulps and live shrimp under a popping cork.
PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the flats on live shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in while drifting flats on topwaters and Gulps. Black drum are good over reefs on shrimp.
