YUCAIPA, Calif. (AP) - Health officials are investigating after 20 people fell ill at a San Bernardino County conference center over the weekend.
Cal Fire spokeswoman Debbie Chapman said 13 of those sickened at Oak Glen Christian Conference Center in Yucaipa on Saturday were hospitalized. The nature of the illness was not specified.
Public Health spokesman David Wert said Sunday that the cause is under investigation.
No one at the conference center could be reached for comment.
The Riverside Press-Enterprise says (https://bit.ly/2n6AOY4 ) past health inspections offer no clues. The newspaper says the conference center in Yucaipa received high marks on its most recent inspections by health inspectors.
