Police search for suspect in fatal shooting in Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Westchester County are searching for a suspect wanted for fatally shooting a 31-year-old man.

The Journal News reports (https://lohud.us/2nuRzxw) that the man was shot in the abdomen around 2 p.m. Wednesday in Yonkers. Police say the man was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities haven’t released the victim’s name.

Investigators say the victim may have been targeted. No arrests have been made. An investigation is continuing.
