MANAHAWKIN, N.J. (AP) - Hurricane season has started and New Jersey officials want to be ready to evacuate the coast if a storm takes aim.

Road crews on Thursday staged their annual evacuation drill.

Crews erected cones, barrels and signs on several highways that would be put into place to reverse the flow of traffic in the event a storm required evacuations.

No roads were closed.
