ANACONDA, Mont. (AP) - Officials in southwestern Montana have released the name of a 77-year-old Anaconda man who was struck and killed while crossing the street at night during a rainstorm.

Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Coroner Jessie Billquist-Jette tells The Montana Standard (bit.ly/2sckWK9) that Donald Stuber died in the collision at about 2:30 a.m. Monday.

A 37-year-old Pensacola, Florida man who hit him said the traffic light was green and he did not see Stuber until he was just a foot or two away and was unable to avoid hitting him.
