SHARTLESVILLE, Pa. (AP) - National Weather Service officials have confirmed a small tornado touched down in eastern Pennsylvania on Monday.

Officials on Tuesday found evidence of an EF-0 twister near Shartlesville in Berks County. There was a damage path of trees behind Mountain Springs Campground. Large hardwood trees were uprooted and snapped at a home off Mountain Road.

The weather service says the direction of the downed trees exhibited a rotational pattern consistent with tornadic damage.

Several videos were posted online showing what appeared to be funnel clouds near the tiny village in Upper Bern Township, about 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

The storms moved through Monday afternoon and evening.
