INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb says federal disaster loans are available in nine southern Indiana counties damaged by spring floods.

Residents, businesses and nonprofits are eligible from Dubois, Crawford, Daviess, Martin, Orange, Perry, Pike, Spencer and Warrick counties.

Homeowners can get up to $200,000 to repair or replace damaged property. Renters are eligible for loans of up to $40,000 to replace personal items. Businesses and nonprofits can get up to $2 million in loans.

The money comes from the U.S. Small Business Administration. The first deadline to apply is Aug. 14.
