PITTSBURGH (AP) - A Pennsylvania man found critically wounded in his overturned sport-utility vehicle has died, and police have been searching for whoever shot him.
The Allegheny County medical examiner says 48-year-old Dedric Ellis, of Turtle Creek, died of multiple gunshot wounds to the trunk.
Officers found him when they responded to the crash about 12:20 a.m. Friday. Ellis died a short time later at Allegheny General Hospital.
Police believe Ellis was shot in the vehicle before it overturned.
Police were continuing to investigate whether his shooting was related to another hours earlier in the same neighborhood, Marshall-Shadeland. A man was shot in the arm about 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the other incident.
