PAGELAND, S.C. (AP) - A police officer in a small South Carolina town is accusing his boss of breaking in his home.
Chesterfield County deputies told media outlets that Pageland officer Brandon Roberts was late for work after a family event Monday night and came home to find police Chief Craig Greenlee and another officer inside his house.
In the report filed by deputies, Roberts said Greenlee upbraided him for missing work. Roberts says he also noticed his police duty belt and radio were missing and other items had been moved.
Deputies say Roberts reported for work before filing the burglary report.
Greenlee refused to talk to WSOC-TV about the report.
The State Law Enforcement Division is investigating. No charges have been filed.
