The Batmobile from the forthcoming “Justice League” movie will be showcased this week in San Diego at Comic-Con, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Dark Knight’s souped-up armored ride will be unveiled for Wednesday’s Comic-Con Preview Night, THR reported Wednesday.

Of course, the showcased movie prop is a convenient peg to launch the latest must-have merchandise for Batman buffs: a toy version that won’t cost a small fortune to own.

Mattel’s remote-controlled “Ultimate Justice League Batmobile” — which can also be controlled via an app on your smartphone — will be available for pre-order online Thursday, THR reported.

“Bringing the Batmobile to life has been really rewarding as a longtime fan,” Mattel toy designer Michael Kadile said, THR reported. Mr. Kadile particularly enthused over his favorite feature, “the smoke that comes out when you rev the engine. It’s an unexpected surprise!”

THR did not say how much one Ultimate Justice League Batmobile will set you back, but in February Business Insider gave readers a preview of the product, reporting it would retail for $250.

“Justice League,” starring Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, is slated for a Nov. 17 wide release in the United States.
