Politicking, networking and campaigning, and all-you-can-eat seafood?

Those are the highlights of the 41st Annual J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake, which took place as always in Crisfield.

Republican Gov. Larry Hogan attended the Wednesday event, which features crabs, clams, fish, corn on the cob and watermelon.

Rushern Baker, Prince George’s County executive, worked the crowd, too — this year as a Democratic candidate seeking to unseat Mr. Hogan in 2018.

The event is named in honor of Crisfield native J. Millard Tawes, who was Maryland governor from 1959 to 1967.

The seafood blowout is the annual fundraiser for the Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
