Lighting worker dies after falling from scissor lift

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a northeast Florida man is dead after falling 60 feet from a scissor lift.

The Florida Times-Union (https://goo.gl/FowGLF ) reports that 74-year-old Bruce Gordon Krost died at a hospital early Tuesday.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says the Liberty Lighting employee was working at Wheel-1 Inc. Monday morning when the lift fell over. Officials say Krost hit his head on the concrete floor and was taken to UF Health Jacksonville in life-threatening conditioning.
