MEADVILLE, Pa. (AP) - Weather forecasters have issued a lake effect snow advisory for parts of northwest Pennsylvania.

The National Weather Service says that three to seven inches of snow are expected to fall, with the highest totals expected in western Crawford County.

Forecasters warned of period of heavy lake effect snow producing difficult travel at times with poor visibility.



They warned drivers to be prepared for rapid changes in the weather.

The snow will taper off from west to east through the morning.
