OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Officials say a fire at an Ogden home caused an estimated $80,000 in damage.

The Standard-Examiner reports (https://bit.ly/2hO087C ) that the Ogden Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the northern Utah home early Monday evening. The home’s three occupants were evacuated safely and the fire was extinguished in less than an hour.

Deputy Fire Chief Eric Bauman said in a press release that the crews successfully put out the fire despite winter weather and a downed power line in the backyard.

The city Fire Marshal’s office is investigating what caused the fire.
