Woman injured when drone falls on her head

LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Police say a woman was taken to a hospital after a drone crashed and fell on her head at a weekend party in northern Utah.

The Herald Journal in Logan reports (https://bit.ly/2jRAuwh) that someone was using the drone indoors to take pictures of the event at Castle Manor in Hyde Park on Saturday.

Police Chief Kim Hawkes says the man appears to have lost control of the drone. The chief says it crashed into a wall and fell on the woman’s head.

Hawkes says the woman was taken to a hospital by ambulance, but he did not immediately have additional information about her condition.

Hyde Park is about 90 miles north of Salt Lake City.
