FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Parts of Arizona are still feeling the effects of the latest winter storm system to hit the state.
The storm system that dropped snow in many areas of northern and eastern Arizona has moved eastward and weakened, and a winter storm warning for Flagstaff and high-country communities has expired.
However, public schools in Flagstaff are closed Tuesday because of weather and road conditions, with authorities reporting that roads and highways in the Flagstaff area are still covered with snow and slick in spots.
In southern Arizona, a freeze warning is been issued Wednesday morning for the Tucson area and parts of Pinal County.
