WOODLAWN, Md. (AP) - Police say a student has been stabbed at the tennis courts at a suburban Baltimore high school.

Baltimore County police spokeswoman Officer Jen Peach said by telephone that officers were called to the tennis courts by Woodlawn High School around 11:15 a.m. Thursday. She says a 16-year-old 10th grader was cut on the abdomen and was taken to Shock Trauma with a minor stab wound.

Peach says police are still searching for a suspect. Peach did not know what led up to the stabbing.

She says the school locked down briefly, but the lockdown has since been lifted.
