NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - A man who pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing a man on a bike path in New Hampshire has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.
WMUR-TV reports Jonathan Goff apologized for his actions in court Thursday. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit robbery in the death of 49-year-old Benjamin Marcum in 2015.
Last year, Stephen Peno was sentenced to 28 years in prison in Marcum’s death after pleading guilty to second-degree murder and other charges.
Prosecutors say Peno and Goff planned to commit a robbery on March 12, 2015, and the two confronted Marcum on a bicycle path in Nashua.
Investigators say Peno beat and kicked Marcum. They say Goff stabbed him.
