CARSON, Calif. (AP) - D.C. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid will miss the U.S. January camp for the second straight year because of a knee injury.
Hamid was dropped Tuesday, a day ahead of the team’s first training session since Bruce Arena replaced Jurgen Klinsmann as coach in November.
Hamid had surgery last year after tearing the lateral meniscus in his right knee while preparing for the January camp, an injury that sidelined him until late May.
