LEXINGTON, Tenn. (AP) - A Linden man is facing charges in a deadly house fire in Lexington.

Local media outlets report that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says 36-year-old Buddy Ray Small was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder, arson and abuse of a corpse in connection with Tuesday’s blaze.

Firefighters went to the mobile home where they found the body of a man inside. Officials say the victim has not been identified, pending autopsy results.

During the investigation, TBI agents say they discovered information that led to Small’s arrest.

Small is being held in the Henderson County jail without bond. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
