Sen. Elizabeth Warren has a new book coming out in a matter of weeks. In a moment of interesting timing, her publisher revealed the news just hours after her rigorous speech before the Senate against the confirmation of fellow Sen. Jeff Sessions for U.S. attorney general.

The title of her book is “This Fight is Our Fight,” which follows her first book “Fighting Chance,” released two years ago.

Drama and political combat appears to be the order of the day for the Massachusetts Democrat, who was formally silenced by Senate leadership for her words against Mr. Sessions.

“Washington works great for the rich and powerful who can hire armies of lawyers and lobbyists, but it is not working very well for everyone else,” Mrs. Warren said in a statement. “America’s once-solid middle class is on the ropes, and now Donald Trump and his administration seem determined to deliver the knockout punch. At this perilous moment in our country’s history, it’s time to fight back — and I’m looking for more people to join me.”

Publisher Henry Holt advises that the forthcoming book “tells eye-opening stories about her battles in the Senate” — and does not have flattering words for President Trump, referring to him as “a con artist.”

The book will be published April 18. The circumstances were not lost on the GOP.

“Warren launches book tour from Senate floor,” quipped the Republican National Committee, which offered a roundup of the press coverage surrounding the lawmaker.

Even after her encounter in the Senate earlier this week, Mrs. Warren continued to criticize Mr. Sessions, who was confirmed as attorney general Wednesday night.

“If Jeff Sessions makes even the tiniest attempt to bring his racism, sexism & bigotry into the Justice Dept., he’ll hear from all of us,” Mrs. Warren tweeted in the aftermath.

Her high-profile behavior has prompted some political analysts to suggest she has her eye on a presidential run in 2020.

As an author, Mrs. Warren has some competition from one of her own, however. Former Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton also has a new book arriving soon, a collection of personal essays and favorite quotes — “words to live by,” Mrs. Clinton said earlier this week.
