TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey’s Assembly session has been canceled because of the snow storm.
The Assembly was scheduled to meet on Thursday for votes on some several dozen bills. Among them was legislation sought by Republican Gov. Chris Christie to require state-regulated insurers to carry coverage for inpatient and outpatient treatment for drug addiction.
A makeup session has not yet been announced.
State offices were also closed on Thursday as snow fell across the state.
