“Saturday Night Live” may soon have another famous female face playing a member of President Trump’s administration: Rosie O’Donnell.

Melissa McCarthy’s turn as White House press secretary Sean Spicer might not be the last gender-bending performance for “SNL.” Ms. O’Donnell responded to the idea on Twitter by saying, “Available — if called i will serve!” One of her fans suggested she would be ideal for the role of White House top strategist Stephen K. Bannon.

“They know where 2 find me,” the former co-host of ABC’s “The View” tweeted to another fan on Monday.

A tweet where she vowed “I will be ready” was liked 10,000 times.

The show’s recent take on Mr. Spicer prompted him to call it “cute” and “funny” during an appearance on “Fox & Friends” on Sunday.

“I would rather us be talking about the issues that the president is so committed to helping Americans on, but you know, it’s part of American culture,” he said.

“[Ms. McCarthy] needs to slow down on the gum chewing; way too many pieces in there,” he added during an interview with Extra.
