JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Several groups in Mississippi are giving away trees to mark Arbor Day.

The Mississippi Forestry Commission is publishing a list of the giveaways on its website: https://bit.ly/2kRIEF6 .

Arbor Day in Mississippi is Friday.



Gov. Phil Bryant has proclaimed Feb. 10-17 as Arbor Day/Tree Planting Week.

The commission says almost 70,000 people in Mississippi work in forestry.
