KINGSPORT, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities in Kingsport say police have apprehended a murder suspect charged in connection with a man’s death.
The Kingsport Times-News (https://bit.ly/2jOLkSe ) reports that 51-year-old Jeffrey Dale Flanary is charged with premeditated first-degree murder, felony first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery and two counts of theft over $2,500.
The charges are related to an investigation into Tuesday’s discovery of a body inside the victim’s home. Following a request for a welfare check, officers forced their way inside the residence and found the body of 59-year-old Michael Dale Davidson.
