Man shot to death in New Orleans’ Central City neighborhood

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police are investigating the killing of a man in the Central City neighborhood.

NOLA.com ’ The Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/2kQ7KI4 ) that the man was shot to death early Thursday morning on Rev. John Raphael Way Jr. Way.

Police said the man was shot more than once and was found on the sidewalk. Authorities say he was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Few other details were immediately available.

NOLA.com reports that the slaying is the city’s 32nd homicide of 2017.
