BIDDEFORD, Maine (AP) - Authorities say a Maine store was closed for hours because heavy snow caused its roof to sag.

Police say the 66,000-square-foot Kohl’s store in Biddeford was closed while the roof was being evaluated Friday.

The problem was first noticed Thursday afternoon. The store reopened Friday afternoon.

In early 2014, the previous building was razed because the structure was sinking into the ground. A new store opened in September 2014.
