PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Department of Transportation says a forecast for rain has prompted it to postpone the second of two closures of three-mile stretches of Interstate 10 on Phoenix’s west side.

ADOT says the work will be rescheduled for a future weekend.

Eastbound I-10 was to have been closed between 75th and 51st avenues for work to prepare for construction of a new freeway interchange.

Westbound I-10 in the same area was closed last weekend for the same project.
