BALTIMORE (AP) - Police say they’re worried foul play could be involved in the disappearance of a mother and her daughter in Baltimore nearly two weeks ago.

Police spokesman T.J. Smith is urging the public to come forward with information about the whereabouts of 33-year-old Joanna Clark and 15-year-old Shariece Clark.

Smith said at a news conference Thursday that they were last seen in the Cherry Hill community on Feb. 4. Smith says Joanna Clark’s six other children were left with a caregiver and she’s never left her children for an extended period of time.

Smith says Shariece Clark is active on social media, but hasn’t communicated since Feb. 4.

Police haven’t found evidence of a crime, but Smith says they believe that the “possibility is strong that foul play is involved here.”
