RAMONA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a small plane has crashed near Ramona in Southern California.

Cal Fire Capt. Issac Sanchez tells the San Diego Union Tribune (https://bit.ly/2khJRJ9) they received a report of the crash Sunday afternoon.

He says sheriff’s and fire officials found the crash site in Pamo Valley, near Ramona.



Sanchez says the site in inaccessible by ground and rescue crews are being flown in to the area.

The number of people aboard the aircraft wasn’t immediately clear.

Sanchez didn’t know where the plane took off from or where it was headed.
