Escaped West Virginia jail inmate found by deputies

GRAFTON, W.Va. (AP) - Authorities say an inmate who escaped a West Virginia jail earlier this year has been found.

WOAY-TV reports that Summers County Sheriff Deputy Gary Wheeler says 36-year-old Michael Anthony Campbell was found Friday after tips from the public led authorities to a trailer in Pipestem. Campbell had escaped from Pruntytown Correctional Center in September.

Deputies found Campbell inside a bedroom in the trailer, wearing camouflage clothing.

Campbell was arrested without incident and was transported to Mount Olive Correctional Center
