A woman videotaped tossing a cup of urine at a Metrobus driver is expected to turn herself into police.

The woman, who has not yet been arrested or identified by D.C. police, said she was “provoked” and had to use the bathroom “real, real bad.”

“I was provoked. I hate Metro,” the woman told News4’s Adam Tuss in a phone interview Wednesday morning.

“I’ve been catching Metro for 35 years. They’ve never done s—- for me,” the lifelong D.C. resident said.

“I had to go to the bathroom real, real bad,” she said. “I just peed in a cup.”

The incident occurred around 6:14 p.m. Aug. 26 on a Metrobus near Minnesota Avenue and Benning Road in Northeast.

The Metrobus video shows the woman standing near the driver and uncovering a purple cup. As she was about to depart the bus, the driver told her, “Have a nice day.” The woman responded by saying, “Are you talking to me?”

At that point, the woman reached around a protective shield, tossed the urine at the driver, dropped the cup and ran off the bus.

The driver had to be “decontaminated,” authorities said.

Likely charges against the woman include assault.
