GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - A Green Bay Police captain and a secretary sickened after opening a suspicious envelope have returned to work.

The Police Department headquarters was evacuated Monday afternoon when the workers became ill. The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that the workers were released from a hospital Monday night and returned to work Tuesday.

Police Chief Andrew Smith says the envelope appeared to have come from out of state and was addressed to a nonexistent officer. Tests are scheduled to determine what was in it. The FBI and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service are helping with the investigation.
