NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) - Police in upstate New York say an 8-year-old was injured when she was struck by a van.
WGRZ-TV reports (https://on.wgrz.com/2wfM4KS ) the crash occurred in Niagara Falls around 12:55 p.m. Thursday. Police say the 8-year-old girl was crossing the street when she was hit by a van.
The child was taken to Buffalo Women and Children’s Hospital. Police say the child suffered head, rib and knee injuries that don’t appear to be life-threatening.
Police have not charged the 26-year-old Niagara Falls woman who was driving the van. Police continue to investigate the crash.
