BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Students from Hankinson took top honors in this year’s National Archery in the Schools Program state tournament.

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department reports that Hankinson claimed top honors in the elementary, middle school and high school divisions.

Overall individual winners were Hankinson archers Clayton Stone and Jaycee Brown.



A record 614 archers competed in the March tournament in Minot. Winning teams and the top 10 individuals qualify for the national tournament in May in Louisville, Kentucky.
