MACUNGIE, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a 17-year-old youth died after a shooting at a home in eastern Pennsylvania.
The Lehigh County coroner’s office said 17-year-old Chris Perez of Allentown was pronounced dead shortly after 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest after what was termed an “incident” at a Lower Macungie Township home. An autopsy is planned Monday to determine the cause and manner of his death.
District Attorney Jim Martin told The (Allentown) Morning Call that Perez was shot, but investigators were still gathering details about exactly what happened. Martin said Sunday that “There were a number of other individuals inside the home at the time this happened.” He said no charges had been filed.
