TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Jersey shore residents should be alert for the possibility of flooding.
A coastal flood advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday until midnight for the possibility of minor flooding during high tide. High tide along the coast occurs between 7:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. and it happens later along the back bays.
Wave heights of 7 to 10 feet (2 to 3 meters) are expected off New Jersey.
