Rep. Leonard Lance said Tuesday there’s “nothing” new that will make him support the new GOP health care bill.
“I see nothing that makes me want to support it,” the New Jersey Republican said on CNN.
Mr. Lance said there isn’t enough to protect people with preexisting conditions, an issue that was part of the first Republican health care bill’s demise. He also said that he’d like to see more Democratic participation to help the exchange, which Mr. Lance acknowledged need some changes.
Mr. Lance is a member of the more moderate Tuesday Group, which battled with the conservative Freedom Caucus over this issue in March.
