Gov. John Kasich gave President Trump an “incomplete” report card Tuesday saying that there’s a “learning curve” when you get into office.
The Ohio Republican refused to endorse Mr. Trump and even skipped the Republican National Convention in his state last year. Mr. Kasich was a 2016 presidential candidate.
Mr. Kasich said on “Fox & Friends” that people wanted a “strongman” in the White House that could fix their problems overnight, but he said big changes like Mr. Trump’s proposing take time.
The governor said on issues such as health care or tax reform, the White House needs to work with both Republicans and Democrats, or the problems will continue, as Obamacare has shown.
“It’s really a partnership,” Mr. Kasich said.
