Police identify man struck, killed by CSX train in Virginia

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man who died after he was hit by a CSX train in Fredericksburg.

Police identified the man on Sunday as 30-year-old Jeremy David Day of Fredericksburg.

Police said Day died at the hospital after he and another man were hit by a CSX train early Saturday.

Police say the other man is in critical but stable condition at a Richmond hospital.

Police say their investigation is ongoing and have not released further details.
