LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has chosen four finalists to become its executive vice chancellor and provost.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2nOXcKK ) that the finalists announced on Friday were among 27 who applied for the university’s second-in-command position.

The finalists are: Michael Henson, a professor, an associate vice president for research and dean of the graduate school at Morehead State University in Kentucky; Steven Berberich, an associate provost for faculty and staff affairs at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio; Velmer Burton, dean of the School of Applied Sciences and a professor at the University of Mississippi; and DoVeanna Fulton, dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Houston-Downtown.



The candidates are vying to replace the university’s interim provost, Deborah Baldwin.
