New Jersey state officials have identified the woman killed in Thursday’s fatal train crash in Hoboken as Fabiola Bittar de Kroon.

According to TV station WNBC in New York, Mrs. de Kroon “was standing on the platform when the train came barreling in and she was struck by debris.”

The identification came from the New Jersey state medical examiner, WNBC reported.

Citing unnamed “sources,” the station said the woman was 34 and was married with one child. Her husband was out of town on business and the child in day care at the time, the sources said.

More than 100 other people were injured when the Pascack Valley Line train ran into the terminal at full speed during the morning rush hour, shortly before 9 a.m.
