PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Department of Transportation has added more webcams on two Phoenix-area freeways.

ADOT says new cameras on Interstate 10 between 83rd Avenue and Bullard Avenue and on Interstate 17 between Anthem and Loop 101 are available for viewing on the https://www.az511.gov/traffic/ website.

The agency says the additional cameras will allow drivers to learn about freeway conditions before starting their commutes or other trips. ADOT itself uses the traffic cameras to observe crashes and help coordinate responses.

ADOT says it also has replaced eight outdated cameras through the Deck Park Tunnel with high-definition cameras will provide cleared pictures.
