BOSTON (AP) - U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is heading north to stump for presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire.

The Massachusetts Democrat is planning to participate in canvassing events in Manchester and Nashua on Saturday morning before hosting an afternoon rally at the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

Democratic New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan will join Warren at the rally. Hassan is running for U.S. Senate and is locked in a tight race with incumbent Republican U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte.

Warren says she’s ready to do her part to beat Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, send Clinton to the White House and help elect Hassan.

Polls have generally given Clinton an edge over Trump in New Hampshire.

Warren has been a high-profile supporter of Clinton and a gleeful critic of Trump.
