SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Forecasters say trick-or-treaters can expect showers for Halloween night.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/2dVcNUd ) Monday that National Weather Service Meteorologist Steve Anderson says the North Bay is expected to get the heaviest showers, with a half inch expected to fall. San Francisco will see one-tenth of an inch to a quarter-inch of water. There is a possibility of thunderstorms. Forecaster say rain is expected to decrease further south and in the inland valleys.
In the Sierra, up to 18 inches of fresh powder was forecast above 7,000 feet around Lake Tahoe.
