Forecasters warn small boats of wind danger along coast

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - The National Weather Service warns that high winds could make boating along New Jersey’s coast dangerous for small vessels.

Forecasters issued a small craft advisory from the Bayshore region in northern New Jersey to the Delaware Bay at the southern tip of the state.

Wind speeds could reach 30 knots, which could result in hazardous waves for smaller crafts.

The advisory is in effect until midnight.
